1 hour 40 minutes
Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade
I frankly thought Adam Sandler had hit rock bottom with his two previous movies, “Jack and Jill” and “That’s My Boy”. Well, I was wrong. “Grown Ups 2″ is by far Sandler’s worst movie.
This insultingly stupid slapstick comedy again reunites Sandler with his moronic boyhood buddies, engaging in horseplay that I can only describe as embarrassingly unfunny.
As the sequel unfolds, it’s increasingly apparent that “Grown Ups 2″ is one of those misguided duds that should have gone straight to cable.
The aging homeboys desperate to relive their carefree youth becomes a string of obnoxious misfire gags. The picture couldn’t be less funny. Instead of growing up, Sandler’s style of humor has become more childish, as “Grown Ups 2″ repeatedly crosses the boundaries of bad taste.
You’ll come away shaking your head how inane this movie really is.
With the two previous flops under his belt, Sandler just can’t afford another Turkey, especially one in the running for worst movie of the year.
“Grown Ups 2″ is so bad, I’m being generous by giving it One star. This picture’s what I call a 3-D movie. Dumb, dreadful and please, don’t waste your money.
