Tracking A Midweek Winter Storm
As I was running errands Monday morning, I got a lot of questions about snow for Wednesday. Yes! As you already know by seeing our 22News Storm Team Forecast, we are expecting some snow to start Wednesday afternoon (as early as noon). Right now, it looks like some of that snow will mix with sleet and/or rain Wednesday evening in the lower Pioneer Valley. This will be a relatively long duration storm. The snow may not completely end until sometime Thursday evening. At this point, you should start thinking about snow being a part of your plans Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon. That means both the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commute will be slow.
22News Storm Team Meteorologist Ashley Baylor will be in Tuesday at 4:30AM, with updated information.
People blame the weather forcasters when the weather isn’t their fault. It’s what mother nature decides. I think that weather forcasters do awesome work.

Brian, at least you know that people are watching you on 22 NEWS.
At least, whatever snowfall amount we get, it won’t take long to melt.
Bring on Spring! I’m ready!
Between being a professional poker player and being a meteorologist, I’d rather be the poker player. The odds of success are better. You guys do a hell of a job. Don’t envy you a bit much as I would love to be in broadcasting myself. (I’d rather do English play by play for the Canadiens.)
Brian, how much snow in New Salem? Can’t see it on map. Skip
