If loving winter sports is wrong, I don’t want to be right!  The weather this weekend is going to be delightful.  I strongly encourage you  get out to your favorite mountain and do some skiing or riding!  Despite what’s been happening with the weather, ski areas are in pretty good shape.  This weekend in particular will be an excellent time to get out to ski & ride, even learn to ski & ride! 

Here’s why:
1.  Most people think the skiing stinks.  Not true.  I skied Friday morning in western Massachusetts.  It didn’t stink.
2.  It’s Super Bowl weekend, featuring our region’s two NFL teams, so a lot of people are going to take the weekend off from skiing, to eat taco dip and watch the game. 
3. Ski area managers are fully aware of  of #1 & #2.  So, the ski areas are offering some amazing deep, deep discounts to get us to the mountain this weekend!  There is even one mountain in Vermont that is offering a cut-rate “I hate football” ticket! 

Anyway, you get my drift!  Take advantage of the great weather, the light crowds, and the cheap tickets at your favorite (or least expensive) mountain!  All things considered, this could be the best ski/riding weekend of the year! AND, you’ll still be able to get home to watch the Super Bowl on 22News & eat some taco dip!!!!
